Along
with the Magne Microman, Takara introduced a new series of figures
called the Change Trooper to the line-up. Change Troopers were
basically transformable Microman figures along the same concept as the
Micro Robot from the 1980's New Microman series. These small
figures can transform into either hover vehicles for Microman or into
weapon attachments for the Magne Robotman. There were five Change
Troopers for Microman and three for the Acroyer. Each Microman
Change Troopers shared the same basic body but had different chest
parts, weapons and head sculpts. The figure came with single
magnet in the left hand and in the right foot. Change Troopers had
many of the basic Microman-style such as the chrome head and back port
(only 2.5 mm port instead of the usual 5 mm size).
