2012 the vintage collection wave 12
for the second wave of 2012 series hasbro returned to the "mixed" wave theme. the line included for the first time live action version of the clone wars characters and figure from the new star wars mmo the old republic. the wave also included all new version of darth vader and luke skywalker in hoth gear. the rest of the assortment unfortunately are carry forward figure from the phantom menace which will not helping the distribution issue at retails.

the clone wars
vc92 anakin skywalker
this figure is the first figure in the clone wars vintage collection sub-series which introduce animated character in live-action style figure. anakin figure is all new and since the figure is from the clone wars (which lucas considers to be cannon) the card back get the clone wars logo instead of the generic expanded universe.
a new hope
vc93 darth vader
this is all new sculpt of dart vader depicting a new hope version of his cybernetic armor suit. hasbro give this figure all new designation number and new card back (star wars, a new hope instead of the empire strikes back) something they did not do with boba fett. the figure is all new and arguably one of the best darth vader figure so it is fitting that he is released on the iconic star wars cardback.
vc94 imperial navy commander
this is brand new figure of the black outfit imperial commander. hasbro decided against the original death squad name and choose to go with navy commander for the vintage collection line.
the empire strikes back
vc95 luke skywalker (hoth gear)
this is another brand new sculpt and the figure was shown last year but got push back into 2012 which is unfortunate since it would great to have him to go with the target vintage collection taun-taun. this is another excellent figure on yet another iconic cardback.
expanded universe (star wars the old republic)
vc96 darth malgus
this is the third figure in the expanded universe sub-series and first from star wars the old republic mmorpg (on-line game). he is a very nice looking figure even if he is from a video game and will be sough after by many.
