Bandai released GD-80 Masked Rider Zolda in March of 2005. Zolda, whose name came from German word "mercenary" or "soldier" is a heavy trooper Masked Rider whose contract monster is a heavily armed robotic minotaur. Zolda alter ego is a cocky lawyer who is in the fight so he can be cure of the illness. Masked Rider Zolda is a long-range style fighter and his visor is a small machine gun called Magnu Visor. 

SH Kamen Rider Zolda uses the standard SH Kamen Rider Ryuki core body. The figure has very good joints and the armor pieces and accessories all fit nicely. The paint job is not too bad but the helmet and chest seem a little bit off in proportion but overall he looks alright. SH Zolda comes with numerous accessories (befitting his character). The accessories are all newly molded just for this SH version. His Magnu Visor is highly details with good paint job and the clip can even be partially pull out. Due to the large extra accessories, Souchaku Henshin Zolda retail price is slightly higher than the average SH figures.

Unmasked Mode

Like other SH Riders figures, the human body underneath can look out of proportion and is solely intended for display with the "cloth" (Rider Armor) on. The core body is similar in style as the body used since the original Saint Seiya Cloth line, however for the 2004 SH line, Bandai have retooled the body to make it more modern. While the head still appears too small due to having to accommodate the mask, this removable "armor suit" however, is one of the aspect that drawn me to this line. The ability to "henshin" into the Rider form make these SH figures a lot like small version of Henshin Cyborg or the RAH costume hero.

Accessories

Zolda comes with numerous accessories for Zolda's Shoot Vent : Giga Cannon and Giga Launcher along with miniature plastic Advent card. (The card stickers include Summon Magnugiga and the two Shoot Vent card - Giga Cannon and Giga Launcher to go with the included accessories).

R&M SERIES - RM3 ZOLDA AND MAGNUGIGA

Bandai originally released R&M series as the main action-figure toys for Ryuki when the show was first air in Japan back in 2002. R&M is a set of figures that include a Kamen Rider figure (regular 5" figure without the removable die-cast armor feature of SH series) and his contract monster. R&M3 set feature Zolda and his contract monster - Magnugiga, a mechanical minotaur.  Since R&M is the same scale as Souchaku Henshin (5" size), the monster can be use for display nicely for the SH figure. Some of the removable parts from the R&M monsters also fit SH figure (but this is not always the case). In 2005, Bandai also retool several R&M monster figures and sold them with new never before released monster figure under Souchaku Henshin Mirror Monster Set.
