Bandai released Souchaku Henshin Masked Rider Armed Hibiki in October of 2005 as part of Kamen Rider Hibiki Series. Armed Hibiki or Soukou Hibiki is the power up version of Kamen Rider Hibiki (Sound Demon) that first appeared in the movie "Kamen Rider Hibiki and Seven War Demons". Toei and Bandai have been using the movie special as a way to introduce new Kamen Rider suit for the current year series along with movie only Kamen Riders. (In the case of Hibiki, five additional "Oni" Kamen Riders make the appearance in the movie special.

SH Kamen Rider Hibiki uses all new core body designed specifically for this particular version of Hibiki. Armed version of Hibiki is actually very nice looking and used several die-cast armor parts (unlike other figures from Hibiki SH series). The figure has nice metallic red coating and even snap on armor piece for leg sections. The figure come with special version of Hibiki Taiko weapon with removable tip so they can be mounted on his back along with the Armed Saber weapon.

Unmasked Mode

Like other SH Riders figures, the human body underneath can look out of proportion and is solely intended for display with the "cloth" (Rider Armor) on. The core body is similar in style as the body used since the original Saint Seiya Cloth line, however for the 2004 SH line, Bandai have retooled the body to make it more modern. While the head still appears too small due to having to accommodate the mask, this removable "armor suit" however, is one of the aspect that drawn me to this line. The ability to "henshin" into the Rider form make these SH figures a lot like small version of Henshin Cyborg or the RAH costume hero.

Accessories

Hibiki comes with his Ongekibu (Drum Sticks), Armed Saber and miniature animal discs (Onishinigami).
