MICROMAN MATERIAL FORCE

Material Force series begin in 2003 along with Micro Force (Microman 2003) series as part of the new 2003 series. The Material Forces are blank or core body version of the new body type and are sold as "custom" parts and as novelty series. The line becomes very popular and TAKARA introduce many colors and even Microlady and Microsister versions. However, aside from couple of the special edition versions, they never release clear plastic version of Material Force.  For 2006 series, TAKARA start the year with several exclusives figure and one of which is the first "Clear" Microman Material Force - Microman Crystal.

MICROMAN CRYSTAL

Microman Crystal is essentially a completely clear Material Force Microman. The figure however is not sold as single figure, but instead as part of special set call Microman Custom Arms Sets. The set include Crystal Microman and reissues of weapons set from the 2003 Micro Force series. The weapons come on the sprues and molded in green tinted metallic color. (This seem to be the choice chrome color for the early 2006 releases, Kiguru-Microman also feature this green tinted metallic color. The figure is very nice, plastic quality is good (not the best but not the super cheap kind) and the joints are good. The chrome on the weapon while I personally find the green-tinted color a strange choice they do not look too bad on the figure. The parts of course come on the sprue and have to be remove so a pair of model kit plastic sprue-cutter is recommended.  I never did care much for the accessories from Micro Force Microman 2003 line so I left all all the trees. Takara give some of the set new name, Ninja set is now call "blade" and "spy" set is now call "claw".

CUSTOMS ARMS

Below are the four included "Custom Arms Parts" set. To the right are pictures from the back of the package that show Crystal with each of the set.  Gunner set has extra screw that must be used to assemble his gun, so some assembly is required.
